Top Business Apps Performance in Nigeria Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 business apps on a unified platform in Nigeria displayed diverse performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Chat saw weekly downloads peaking at around 52K in mid-October but experienced a gradual decline towards the end of the year, finishing at approximately 34K in the last week of December. Weekly active users hovered around 470K for most of the quarter, with slight fluctuations and ending at 466K.

WhatsApp Business exhibited robust weekly download numbers, starting at 278K in late September and reaching a high of 405K in early November. However, the downloads tapered off to around 319K by the end of December. Active users remained strong, consistently above 2.7M, peaking at 2.9M mid-October and maintaining stability through the quarter.

Zoom Workplace recorded weekly revenue fluctuating between $1K and $2K, with a notable peak of $2K in the week of October 9. Downloads started at 29K in late September and saw a decrease to about 15K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight decline from 312K to approximately 260K over the quarter.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder experienced consistent weekly revenue, ranging from $8K to $11K, peaking at $10.8K in mid-December. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 22K in late September, peaking at 29K in early December, and ending at 19K in the last week of December. Active users saw a gradual decline from 603K to around 516K throughout the quarter.

Meta Business Suite maintained stable weekly downloads around 15K, with minor fluctuations. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at 256K in late September and rising to 287K by the end of December.
